Our Background

Public community school · Isikizya ward, Uyui district

Idete Secondary School is a public community school located in Isikizya ward, Uyui district, along the Nzega-Tabora highway. Established in 1996, our institution has grown to become a beacon of quality education in the region. We operate as a co-educational school at the ordinary level (Form I–IV), welcoming both boys and girls to pursue their academic dreams. In 2020, we proudly expanded our offerings to include advanced level education (Form V–VI), currently specializing in science (PCB, PCM and ECsM ) and arts (HKL, HGL and EGM) combinations, with this program exclusively for female students as we focus on empowering young women in higher secondary education. Today, Idete Secondary School nurtures a vibrant learning community of over 2,000 students drawn from our local community and across Tanzania, all united in their pursuit of academic excellence and personal growth.
